Terms of Service

1. The Service

AisleBye is a meal-planning service that generates weekly dinner plans and, for subscribers on our Plan & Shop tier, can build and submit a shopping cart to a connected grocery retailer (currently Kroger) on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing any cart before checkout and for the accuracy of your retailer account and payment details on that retailer’s platform.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@aislebye.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscriptions, Free Trial & Billing

New subscriptions begin with a 14-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan and we will begin billing the card on file at the then-current price for your selected plan and billing interval (monthly, quarterly, or annual).

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. Payments are processed by Helcim, our third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card number. We may change subscription pricing on a going-forward basis and will provide notice before any change takes effect for existing subscribers.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access to paid features through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for.

Charges are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties, including Clerk (authentication), Helcim (payments), and Kroger (grocery ordering). Your use of those integrations is also subject to that provider’s own terms. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or losses caused by a third-party provider.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse engineer or scrape the Service except as permitted by law.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, and underlying software, is owned by AisleBye or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that meal suggestions meet any particular dietary, allergen, or nutritional requirement — you are responsible for reviewing ingredients and recipes against your own needs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AisleBye will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on this page and updating the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
